Robertson Robertson, the 'Garden Town of the Boland' is situated 160km from Cape Town in the fertile Breede River Valley.
The town was founded in 1852 and is home to a number of Victorian and Georgian houses and cottages. A sense of the history and culture of the town is provided by numerous memorials and provincial heritage sites including the Pink Church built in 1859, the Museum and the Powder House.

The wine estates are gathered mainly around the Breede River, where fruit, vegetables, almonds, coriander and lucerne are also grown.
