Kenton-On-Sea is a quaint coastal village along the Sunshine Coast of the Eastern Cape, midway between Port Elizabeth and East London. Lying between two spectacular tidal rivers, the Kariega and the Bushmans, it is the ideal destination for a family holiday, with many unspoilt beaches which border the warm seas of the Indian Ocean.

The closest town is Grahamstown, a small university town steeped in South African history, which plays host to the famous annual National Arts Festival.

Bathurst, a half-hour drive from Kenton-on-Sea, is a tiny farming village, where locals offer their arts and crafts for sale.

The immediate inland vicinity is richly populated with game reserves, where luxury accommodation is available. The area is malaria free and some of the game reserves offer a Big Five game viewing experience.
